CMC can improve the forming ability, moisture, the affinity between the filler and pulp additives in the process of filling. CMC improved pulp coating, reduce the porosity, the surface to provide high-density, good compaction properties and surface brightness of paper sizing. It also makes good paper, ink penetration resistance, high wax collection capacity. CMC in the flow and pigment dispersion, to improve surface gloss and smoothness of the paper, paper coating aid, while it increases the toughness and origami resistance.
